Funding Work Process
**Process 1: Discover Needs and Eligibility**
1. **Step 1: Consultation**
- Purpose: Understand your client's needs and determine their eligibility for funding.
- If eligible, proceed to Step 2.
- If ineligible, send the "ineligible client" template from HubSpot, including guidance on what the client needs to work on to become eligible.
- Note: The template offers an upsell service.
**Process 2: Application Handling and Submission**
2. **Step 2: Receive Completed Application and Documents**
- Verify if you have a completed application and all necessary supporting documents from your client.
- If documents are missing, email your client to inform them of what's needed.
- Ensure the client's SSN is listed under "your digits" on the application.
3. **Step 3: Complete the Rok Application (JotForm Version)**
- Add information from the client's application to the Rok application found on the loan broker JotForm portal.
- Sign the application on behalf of your client.
4. **Step 4: Upload Rok Application with Documentation**
- Receive the "Rok app" PDF via JotForm from your email.
- Upload this application along with the supporting documentation to the Rok portal.
5. **Step 5: Email Initial Application to d.sanchez@ds-lender**
- Send the initial application (not the Rok app, but the one the client initially filled out) along with the client's supporting documents to d.sanchez@ds-lender.
- Note: The client's information may be brokered out to other lenders, and if they qualify for Credibly, you'll be informed to complete the Credibly app or send it to your client for completion.
**After File is Sent Off**
**Inform Client and Wait for Offers**
- Email your client to inform them that their file has been sent to lenders and ask them to allow 7-10 business days for updates on all offers.
**Regular Updates and Notifications**
- Check in every 3 days for updates from DS Lending or Rok regarding offers for your client.
**Client in Underwriting**
- Once notified that your client is in underwriting, inform the client that they are now in underwriting and will be contacted by multiple lenders regarding offers.
**Approval and Follow-Up**
- Once approved, congratulate your client and offer your assistance for the future.
- Ask for a referral.
- Set a reminder to follow up with your client quarterly to remind them of the services you offer, using HubSpot under the client's profile.
These processes outline the steps to handle client applications for funding and guide you through the client interaction and follow-up phases.
